Bitboy Crypto Clash: YouTuber Ben Armstrong Takes on Hit Network CEO in Legal Showdown

Popular YouTuber Ben Armstrong, formerly known as “Bitboy,” is embroiled in a legal battle against Hit Network CEO Timothy “TJ” Shedd Jr. and Timothy Shedd Sr., both employees of Hit Network, in a lawsuit filed in Georgia. This lawsuit also involves corporate entities BJ Investment Holdings (BJIH) as a plaintiff, with Armstrong, and TJSJ Holdings as a defendant alongside the Shedds.

In this legal skirmish, Armstrong asserts his position as the majority shareholder of BJIH, the parent company of Hit Network and the Bitboy Crypto YouTube channel. He maintains full ownership of Better Than TJ LLC (BTTJ), which controls 67% of BJIH shares, while TJSJ owns the remaining 33%. Armstrong alleges that the company was wrongfully taken from him, igniting this legal battle.

The lawsuit alleges a conspiracy by the Shedds to seize the company from Armstrong, including the unauthorized locking of Armstrong out of various email and social media accounts. It further accuses them of misappropriating, diverting, converting, and misusing Armstrong’s company’s funds and assets for personal gain.

Notably, the suit also highlights allegations of fraud, claiming that the Shedds have engaged in or intend to engage in “illegal or fraudulent” activities. The legal battle unveils that the company generates approximately $1 million in monthly ad revenue.

Armstrong is seeking damages, an injunction, and the return of control over the parent company, its financial records, and digital assets through this lawsuit. Additionally, he requests that the defendants cover the full cost of the suit.

A termination letter sent to Armstrong on August 25 alleges physical assault, verbal abuse towards TJ Shedd and other employees, and substance abuse. However, Armstrong denies these claims, asserting that allegations of hard drug use are false and confirming his use of steroids. While the lawsuit addresses these allegations, it questions the validity of the termination letter and related documents, emphasizing BTTJ’s majority ownership.

Despite the ongoing legal battle, Shedd and the Hit Network have rebranded the Bitboy Crypto YouTube channel as “Discover Crypto.” Armstrong’s supporters have voiced their dissent in response to this move.

As this legal drama unfolds, it showcases the complexities and challenges in the world of cryptocurrency influencers and media companies.
